TSS ProtecTank is a must for the rally cars of today which have to comply to FIA standards (FT3-1999). TSS ProtecTank can be supplied in flexible explosion suppressant and self-sealing versions and are produced by approved manufacturers.

| The external surface of the fuel tank is coated with self sealing materials to prevent leakage, and the inside is filled with explosion suppressant materials. The final outer coating is flame retardant according to the latest UL94 Standards. Independent tests have been carried out by the TNO Laboratory in Holland and the Beschußamt in Germany. Original fuel tanks can be modified to be able to survive fragmentation impacts and explosion. The self-sealing materials are specifically developed and are capable of sealing entrance and exit holes caused by fragmentation impacts. |
